GW Reaches Semi-FInals at National Championship

3Ls Grayson Fusaro and Kaitlyn Iwanowski reached the Semi-finals(Final Four) of the Hunton Andrews Kurth Moot Court National Championship, which occurred this past weekend at the United States District Courthouse for the Southern District of Texas.The team was coached by alum adjunct professors: Linda Blauhut (Deputy General Counsel, Paralyzed Veterans of America) and Renee Reasoner (Permanent Senior Law Clerk, US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims).
GW Law finished the 2022-23 academic year ranked as the 7th best moot court program in the country.  As a result, The University of Houston invited the top 16 schools to compete in the  Championship.   
Grayson and Kaitlyn were selected to represent GW because their Best Petitioner’s Brief and Semi-Finalist status at the 2022 National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition contributed significantly to GW’s national ranking.  Professor Blauhut and Reasoner coached the team in both competitions.
